Working in a field with a variety of athletes of all levels; professional, Olympic, recreational and collegiate, Rikki Keen educates athletes on optimal daily fuel and hydration requirements, nutrient timing and supplementation. Rikki is a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics and currently serves as the sports dietitian for Coach Tom Shaw. There, she works with current NFL players as well as top NFL draft hopefuls, helping meet their demanding nutrient needs as they are preparing for the combine and/or pro days.

Rikki also currently teaches Sports Nutrition at the University of Alaska and is affiliated with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) providing medical nutrition therapy. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University (FSU) and has a master’s degree from Central Michigan University. Rikki has earned certification through the American Dietetics Association as a Sports Dietitian (CSSD) and Nutrition Support Dietitian (CNSD), and through the International Society of Sports Nutrition as a Sports Nutritionist (CISSN).

The combination of quality, science and function of FRS first drew Rikki’s attention in 2009. She recognized that the physical and mental edge allows athletes to work harder and delay fatigue. Rikki is an FRS scientific advisor and recommends it to the athletes she works with.
